process of nuclear fusion, an energy of 4&#215;10<sup>23<\/sup> kJ is generated every second&#8230; <strong>more than the energy consumed by mankind from its origin to the present day. <\/strong><span style=\"color: var( --e-global-color-57e5d6e ); font-family: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-family ), Sans-serif; font-size: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-size ); font-weight: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-weight ); letter-spacing: var(--letter-spacing);\">However, as long as we do not build a Dyson sphere &#8211; and it does not seem that this will happen in the short term &#8211; only a small fraction of this energy will reach the varies each day, among other factors due to the elliptical orbit of the Earth, although by convention we say that about <strong>1.400 W\/m<\/strong><span style=\"font-size: 12px; line-height: 0; position: relative; vertical-align: baseline; top: -0.5em;\"><b>2&nbsp;<\/b><\/span>reach the atmosphere: this is the <a style=\"background-color: #ffffff; font-family: Poppins, sans-serif;\" href=\"https:\/\/es.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Constante_solar\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>solar constant<\/em><\/a>.<\/p><p>However, in the atmosphere there are a series of absorptions and reflections -such as UVC in ozone- that cause only <strong>about half<\/strong> of this amount to <strong>reach the earth&#8217;s surface<\/strong>.<\/p><p>In the graph we can see the spectrum of the radiation reaching the outer atmosphere (yellow) and the Earth&#8217;s surface (red), compared to that of the black body at 5.250C.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-33 elementor-top-column elementor-element
